We don’t only clean your clothes, though. Arrow provides a variety of additional services to support, repair, restore, and preserve your belongings in the event of a disaster.

ON OUR WAY

We assemble and brief our team and will arrive at your specified location on average in approximately two hours*.

PICKUP

Your items are collected and then taken to our processing plant to be inventoried and begin the deodorization and cleaning process. If you wish to set aside a priority order of clothing to be returned to you as quickly as possible, we are happy to accommodate as well as send a copy of your itemized inventory upon request.

WHAT DO WE CLEAN?

Apparel and home textiles of any fabric content. This includes but is not limited to: Clothing, leather, suede, fur, handbags & luggage, wedding gowns, bedding, and electronics.

Restoration Begins

Then the real work begins as our team of specialists inspects and catalogs every item you have sent us. Then denotes how each item should be cared for. An average size restoration order takes between two and three weeks to complete. This depends upon the time of year, extent of damage and volume of items involved. In the event an item cannot be restored you, nor your insurance company will be charged for the cleaning of garments/household goods that are unrestored due to soot, smoke or water stains, unresolved smoke odor and/or burns.

Delivery

Delivery to Permanent Residence: Once your order is finished and ready to be delivered back to you. Our project manager will be in touch to set up a delivery date and time window. Delivery to Temporary Residence: If you will be in a temporary residence that cannot accommodate your clothing or household items, Arrow can offer storage options to you and your insurance company. Upon your return to a permanent residence, we ask that you accept full delivery of your order within two weeks of your return.

Restoration Dry Cleaning FAQs

Our average response time is approximately two hours. We can assure you that we will respond in 24 hours or less. We assemble and brief our team, then drive one or more of our specially marked “Arrow Fire & Water Vehicles” to the location.
Although Arrow does clean area rugs and drapes, the Arrow Fire Restoration business specializes in household soft goods, clothing and bedding. Other specialists handle home furnishings, walls, furniture, carpet cleaning, reconstruction, painting, and the like.
Just as your household items are unique to you, each job is different. Each smoke or flood-damaged item is evaluated for its potential restoration. Recoverable goods are bagged for transport. Excluded items, perhaps of sentimental value, may be added at the customer’s request. The project manager takes the hand-documented list and enters it into a computer database providing an inventory that the insurance claims adjuster and the homeowner can review.
If any odor still lingers, we will then utilize the ozone machine to dissipate any remaining issues with odor. Our laundering process is approximately 5 times more effective than laundering through your home washers. This is due to the amount of cycles our machines perform during the cleaning process as well as using detergents that have been specially formulated to target smoke odors.
If we remove household items and clothing for cleaning, we will make every attempt to restore the item. Our experience gives us a good idea of what can be restored for usability. Our representative will advise you, based on that experience, and you can make your own disposition decision.
