LEATHER GARMENTS
|
Cleaning a leather garment is quite different from a fabric garment.
Conventional dry cleaning is not recommended. With garments made from uniform woven fabrics that are mostly alike, standard drycleaning methods are acceptable. But, each leather piece is uniquely made and requires its own special solutions and processes depending on its construction, leather type, finish and color. A crucial part of successful leather cleaning is the removal of oil stains and residues such as those found on collars. Part of the removal process involves the loss of natural oils. These oils must be replaced. Professional leather care also includes the careful restoration of color and texture that can be lost as a natural consequence of the cleaning process. |
REVIEW “Dear Arrow Care Staff: I wanted to write you to thank you so very much. I sent you a very worn but much loved leather coat and you have magically transformed it to its original new condition. I had expectations that you would do a good job however you have performed far beyond any expectation that I had. I have shown all my friends the coat. (They all thought it was a new coat!) I have also recommended you to everyone I know. Thank you again so very much.”
